Romeo was in love with a girl, Rosaline, but rosaline decided she wanted to become a nun, which means she could not get married. This set off Romeo and could not forget the face of Rosaline . The sparks went off in benvolio's head as a Capulet servant approached and requested Romeo to help him. As the servant left benvolio ”At this same ancient feast of Capulet’s Sups the fair Rosaline whom thou so loves With all the admired beauties of Verona. Go thither, and with unattainted eye Compare her face with some that I shall show, And I will make thee think thy swan a crow”(I.i.84-89). The consequence of this piece is not bad but good. This forces Romeo to forget about Rosaline and fall in love with a new girl, the daughter of his greatest enemy, Juliet. Lord Capulet made the biggest mistake of the all,”Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch! I tell thee what: get thee to church o' Thursday, Or never after look me in the face. Speak not. Reply not. Do not answer me. My fingers itch.—Wife, we scarce thought us blest that God had lent us but this only child, But now I see this one is one too much And that we have a curse in having her. Out on her, hilding!”(III. v. 160-168). Lord Capulet should've thought about what he was saying. Juliet doesn't want to marry County Paris because she is already in love. This one thing set off a chain reaction, Juliet fakes her death, Romeo finds out she “died”, Romeo kills himself, Juliet wakes up, and then kills herself all because of lord Capulet arranging a marriage for Juliet and…

Romeo and Juliet are unlike most love stories where the characters live happily ever after; instead, they both died early in their marriage. They could have lived a long life together, but there were many obstacles in their way. First of all, their fathers’ feud, that nobody knew the reason behind, assisted in the outcome. Friar Laurence’s hasty and ill-advised plan resulted in an ignorant Romeo killing himself. Finally, Juliet also had a helping hand in her own death because she should have known that it would never work out based on the families. Although Tybalt and Mercutio could have been responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet that possibility is highly unlikely. It is true the fight lead to Romeo’s banishment but Juliet would still be forced into the marriage with Paris and so would still follow through on her…

Her and Frair Lawrence thought up a plan to where she could fake her death, on the day and she would be fine. This happened, and news had spread to Romeo, and he had gone on a pursuit into Verona, and into the church where her sleeping body laid.…

Also, if Juliet told Paris that she didn’t want to marry him maybe he would agree and be all like, “well you’re right Juliet we are not meant to be you belong with someone better than whom I am.” This would cause her to ask Romeo if he would marry her but not without asking his and her parents. Nothing else on his mind, with no other ideas, he could come to only one conclusion, “ If, rather than to marry County Prince, thou hast the strength of will to slay thyself, then is it likely thou wilt undertake a thing like death to chide away this shame… Take this vial, being in bed, and this distilled liquor drink thou off… The roses in thy lips and cheeks shall fade to paly ashes, thy eyes’ windows fall like death when he shuts up the day life”, (Act IV, I, p.4). He gave her a sleeping potion, telling her to drink it before going to bed as she was alone. It was to make her appear as if she were dead. He would then send a messenger to Romeo telling him that Juliet is fine, but he needed to come get her. As it turns out, there was a major outbreak of a plague, resulting in Romeo not receiving the…

Romeo loses his self control and kills Tybalt in return, which leads to his exile by the Prince. He threatens to execute Romeo if he returns. Juliet is distressed. The Capulets misinterpret it, and threaten to disown her if she does not marry Paris. Friar Lawrence gives Juliet a potion that will put her in a death like state. Balthasar, unaware of the plan, gives Romeo false news that Juliet is dead. Heartbroken, Romeo purchases a poison and goes to the Capulet tomb where he murders Paris.
