If Romeo talked to Juliet’s dad maybe he could understand why he wanted to marry her and approve of it. Also, if Juliet told Paris that she didn’t want to marry him maybe he would agree and be all like, “well you’re right Juliet we are not meant to be you belong with someone better than whom I am.” This would cause her to ask Romeo if he would marry her but not without asking his and her parents.
Another thing is, what is Romeo didn’t take the poison and saw that Juliet wasn’t really dead. Then that’s when she wakes up, sees Romeo, and they move on with their lives happily married. Later on in life maybe they end up having kids or moving to Paris or something amazing to happen all because they didn’t commit suicide.
One last thing that they probably could have done is what if Romeo never went to the party where he met Juliet? What if later on in live they met again and discussed about a wedding and whether or not it was okay? William Shakespeare could have ended Romeo And Juliet in so many different ways.
