Why I Choose Venezuela?

I decided to research December and January holidays, holiday traditions, and traditional holiday food from around the world. I chose one country from Asia and one country from South America. I’m also combining traditions from four different countries in Europe.

From Asia I choose India. I chose India because I thought that it would have interesting and very different traditions from the American traditions that I am used to. I also thought that it would be fun and interesting to research about it.

From South America I chose Venezuela. I chose Venezuela because it has a cool name and I think it will have interesting traditions.
