every day during a daily walk to class. Madison draws its hopefuls in with its rich amount of history and culture. Being in the heart of Wisconsin contributes to the amount of diversity. The diversity can be seen in both the students through different cultural aspects, and the different clubs and shops located around the Madison area. This helps open up a world full of opportunities that will in turn help me grow and discover who I am.
If accepted to Madison, I am excited to become immersed in the vast opportunities.
Being in such a large area, I would have a better chance in finding internships that interest me and motivate me to find a career. Other opportunities I would take advantage of are the large amount of research resources; including the large library, mentor programs, and lab research. Also, UW-Madison offers the opportunity to travel abroad. If given the chance, I would consider returning to France to study the culture in depth. Another opportunity that would arise from Madison is the vast variety of recreational sports and community involvement. By taking part in volunteer efforts within the community this would help emphasize the pride that comes from being a Wisconsin Badger.
In Madison, there is often a higher sense of accomplishment. UW-Madison chooses those who have completed their high school careers with rigorous courses. In addition, those who are accepted often times show strong GPAs and have taken a multitude of AP classes/college preparatory classes, like myself. Due to this higher expectation, becoming a badger fascinates me in the sense of pride in order to showcase my
accomplishments.
Once accepted to Madison, I intend to pursue my interests and excel in my academics. The location will help me thrive and become a better person. By being a badger, I intend to take part in many college clubs and intramural sports. This will assist me in making friends, memories and also reinforce the Badger pride.
