Another aspect is the capitalist economy that America has. What most seem to find unappealing about the U.S. is its retaliation against foreigners. Mehdi Hasan writes in, Why I Could Never Hate America, that it wasn’t necessarily the people in America that sparked Anti-Americanism, it was the way officials felt they had the right to question those who seemed suspicious, and it was up to them who deemed those who fit within that category. The fact that Americans tend to find themselves mediating international affairs shows that they find themselves to be important enough to do that. However, most Americans seem to question each other; America is made up of many different people with many different views that it is overwhelming. For the most part, Americans see the TSA and Border Control as a necessity because it’s to help keep Americans safe from another attack. Citizens that live in America perceive it to be a diverse place to live, and anyone who does live here can express themselves in whatever way they please. There are still fights for equality going on in America. Many citizens believe America does not treat women with equality, especially in the workplace.
America is also home to many of the world’s top Universities and Colleges, which citizens believe this portrays that America is educated. However, in Americans are Tuning Out the World, studies show only 8.6 percent of Americans study a foreign language in college. This may not show that Americans aren’t educated, however it does show that they aren’t serious about globalization because without solid communication, countries cannot further their
