These allows pathologists to work in a variety of clinical settings with other physicians and help them with early precise diagnosis that requires critical qualities: careful workup and logical thinking and requires them to be familiar with a multitude of topics in clinical medicine and management. Although this may seem like an overwhelming task, it allows me to challenge myself on a daily basis and remain up to date with current and new innovative advancements in medicine.
During all my clinical clerkships I have witnessed the critical role of this field in other subspecialties and how dependents are all other fields to pathology. These experiences allowed me to expand my depth of knowledge in clinical medicine and collectively inspired me to want to pursue pathology actively as a career choice, providing the utmost quality of care to my community and those in need. I plan after successfully completing my pathology residency program to work in hospital where I have the opportunity to serve patients in underserved and rural areas, and be able to make a difference on a personal level
