Many times a child will be scared and being a leader can help then feel safer if you are confident and know what you are doing. For every career, you will work as a team in some way or another. I will be working on a nursing team and together we will have to provide the best care to each and every patient to the best of our ability. Having good overall health as a pediatric nurse will allow me to be successful in many different ways. It will help with avoiding fatigue and allow me to work with no worries of getting sick or injured. I plan to manage my health by eating healthy and working out to maintain good health. In addition, I will keep all my vaccinations up to date and do my best to not get sick. To avoid stress, I will get plenty of sleep at night and take a deep breath when I am getting frustrated or worked up. In this career pathway, it is important to know that even though you may have a strong connection with children, you should not get too attached because it will be harder on you if they pass due to their illness. I will keep myself at a distance from the kids so I can treat them, but I will not be horrendously upset is they pass
