After stepping away from the workforce to start a family, I am ready to resume my professional career. Currently, my children are school-aged and more independent, allowing me to fulfill my desires and enter the workforce. I have kept my skills and connections current through active volunteer work, including leadership roles in school and charitable organizations. Such duties include working with charitable law, the IRS, 501c3 regulations, and soliciting donations, working with large amounts of cash creating a method of tracking cash flow and accountability
and publicity with many forms of media. Prior to my decision to remain home with my children, I managed various retail organizations simultaneously. This included interaction with the public and employees, maintaining company profit, goals, and projecting budgets. This required many managerial the skills while offering support to fellow managers. I am competent with digital technology such as MS office, Word (55wpm), Excel, Outlook, Google docs, sheets, and slides. I constantly challenge myself to maintain the skills needed in the workforce.
Some employers are reluctant to offer positions to those who have been out of the workforce for some years, but I can assure you that my own positive approach to life and work, together with my ability to quickly master new skills and my desire to reach my goals will be a good match for your company.
I would like to meet with you to discuss my application further with you once you have considered my attached resume. I can be contacted at 740-215-2852 or by email at mkrarey@gmail.com
