Why I Want To Become A Surveillance Officer

My professional working career up to now has been challenging, demanding and rewarding. However, I aspire to break through boundaries and reach for expectations that can only be described as exceptional. I believe the role of Surveillance Officer with ASIO will be just that exceptional, as well as for filling my personal desire to work for such a highly regarded and respected organisation. The challenge the role would offer will no doubt bring out the best in me.

I have experience working within a hostile and covert arena and understand the need for an adaptive attitude and possessing an optimistic open mind. One of my strengths is being able to focus on several areas of importance at any given time, allowing for a comprehensive approach when searching for a process to complete set tasks and ensuring the desired outcome is achieved in every instance when
I enjoy participating in learning environments and would grasp the chance to be trained by such an organisation as ASIO. I would approach the opportunity with upmost professionalism and aspire to complete the training to an extremely high standard. I believe it to be a privilege to potentially work for the organisation, this would no doubt be a personal career achievement that I could only emphasis as being fortunate to have the chance. I will ensure I focus on all key characteristics and traits that are being taught and believe I will become a successful surveillance officer.
