When Horus was conceived, his mother had laid with his already dead, only for Isis to end up hiding Horus from his uncle Set who was key on being King of Egypt. When Horus was all grown up he finally had the opportunity to exact his revenge on Set for murdering his father. He like Gaia had to wait to be able to exact his revenge/ vengeance.
