It is 2016 which means it is election year. Hillary Clinton should be the new President of the United States of America. She has great ideas to make the United States better. Clinton is pro choice, pro gun control, and wants to raise the minimum wage. Hillary is the best candidate for president because she has better facts for what she supports. A way Hillary is a better candidate is, she is pro choice for women. Hillary believes women should choose what they want to do with their own body. It is beneficial to women because she is supporting the fact that women get to choose and not the law. She states, “Too often these are called women’s issues. Well, I am a proud lifelong fighter for women’s issues, because I firmly believe what’s good for women is good for America.” Clinton fights for women's rights and fights for them to be their choice. …show more content…
She believes in expanding background checks, take on the gun lobby, and keep guns away from domestic abusers, other violent humans, and severely mentally ill people. It is beneficial to America because there are so many deaths due to guns, if she is president the deaths can be reduced. “I believe weapons of war have no place on our streets. We may have our disagreements on gun safety regulations, but we should all be able to agree on a few things. If the FBI is watching you for suspected terrorist links, you shouldn’t be able to just go buy a gun with no questions asked. You shouldn’t be able to exploit loopholes and evade criminal background checks by buying online or at a gun show. And yes, if you’re too dangerous to get on a plane, you are too dangerous to buy a gun in America,” says

She says “We need a Supreme Court that cares more about protecting the right to vote of a person to vote than the right of a corporation to buy an election.” Hillary is showing great affection to the citizens of America and is making them feel safe and have hope to eliminate voter ID laws. Hillary is also showing many examples of ethos, for every statement she gives she backs them up with evidence as to why something is or is not an issue, for example she says “Since the Supreme Court eviscerated a key provision of the Voting Rights Act in 2013, many of the states that previously faced special scrutiny because of a history of racial discrimination have proposed and passed new laws that make it harder than ever to vote.” This quote is very powerful and shows what the states did in response to these political…
