Why Is It Important To Pursue An Associate's Degree?

Associates degree, in any genre, is an academic program taken at the undergraduate level. It gives students basic technical and academic knowledge they need for employment or further study in the field chosen. Associate’s degrees are commonly offered in the United States, but can be found in parts of Canada. Australia, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands have similar programs, but found under a different name known as foundation degree. These degrees are at various types of colleges across the United States. Some of those colleges include community and junior colleges, technical colleges, and university institutes. Typically, this degree takes a full two years to complete an associate’s degree. Some students use the associate’s degree as preparation for their bachelor’s degree, but for others it is a qualification on its own. Because of the physical demands on the body, dancers usually become choreographers, dance teachers, or artistic directors. Some even become managers or start their own company. Other phrased dancers continue their dance career beyond the age of fifty. Rehearsals are very long hours of the day. Most dance companies tour most of the year. Dancers that perform in productions usually are on the road more often than non-performers. Many dance rehearsals take place during the day, while performances take place in the evening. As this is said, dancers work long and late hours for most their life.
