Entering college means the start of adulthood, which means us “young adults” need to start acting and portraying ourselves as just that. This cannot be done without strong language skills and writing ability. College is all about writing—so it seems. Writing papers for English composition, a history course, emails to professors, resumes for jobs and internships, etc., all require solid writing and communication skills. Not to mention, writing makes for a more active brain, which will result in more success in college and overall in your life. The courses I will take throughout my college education will hopefully make me a better writer, which should benefit my future in many ways.
