they can provide for themselves, the problem is is that the employers are targeting people that are valuable and more people should be educated about slavery because the slavery is sugar coded often.
Slavery in the USA always gets to people because they don't realize that it can be anyone. As sad as it sounds your loved one can be stuck in the slavery in the USA. When we think about slaves we only tend to think about colored people, but its …show more content…
nonsense. Anyone could be the victim and it’s not chosen by color because traffickers would accept anyone. A trafficker has one job and it’s to change the way other people think about them.
This is why it’s so difficult to track one down because they are experts at their jobs and their job is to not get caught. They have a target and they are people who you might imagine, it's horrific, they target the immigrants coming into the USA and sometimes slaves are sold in the borders in the USA. It is really obvious why they would choose them because they don’t speak the language really well so they have a better chance of being a slave. The age of slavery in the USA is shocking because many kids are trapped in the slavery business. United Nations reported that New York’s nights have thousands of underage youth that are sold for sex. That being said, victims are really young, United Nations has also said that they are as young as twelve to fourteen. As stated from the National Center for Missing and Exploited, “As many as 2.8 million children run away each year in the United States. In those first two days of being solo, one out of every three of those children is lured into the sex trade” (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children). Many children are victims of slave trafficking but it is depressing, it is statistically proven from
GEMS that slavery victims are 55 percent female and that 5.5 million of all the victims are children. Traffickers are manipulative people that will trap many humans and put them through hard times, it is difficult for them to find a way out. They try their hardest to escape the slavery industry but it is the fear that makes them not want to escape. Trapping the victim is the main part the trafficker's job because all they want to do is to trick you into thinking that their business is a normal place with normal pay. Since traffickers aim towards the immigrants, they target them because immigrants would do anything to get a job. The trafficker will act like the job is some casual interview but they force upon the victim, they get a contract and they are rushed into signing the paper, what they don’t know is that they are signing themselves for trouble, they are actually paying for a high recruitment fee and it is usually about 6,000 on average. In some cases, there have been people that have signed up to 25,000! This is how traffickers get their business into the success of 250 billion dollars because they obscure their business. Slavery is not only in the sex field, it happens it is also common in the agriculture field. Most people are sugar coded into thinking that people have there's only one field. To those that come to the United States legally, they have to obtain their visas from the embassy, since they do not speak English well in the first place, they have to get coached. The abuse in the slave industry is terrible alone because if the slave doesn’t bring enough money or doesn’t get enough money then they will go through stages of beatings. The innocent person (victim) always gets underpaid and the employer steals money from the victim so it’s really difficult to pay the recruitment fees when you have lots of weight on your shoulders already. The trafficker/employers won’t keep an eye on time because they put their workers on hard labor with extra hours, physical capacity isn’t a thing for them. At the end of the day, escaping is no way out because their visas are connected to their job and they are risking of getting their visas getting taken away.
We could end this but it a whole lot of work to end the whole slavery process and just the victim. It happens everywhere but most people don’t know that. We can see with our eyes and we have to use them in order to make them work in this case you can tell that a slave is actually one is by noticing one with a well-dressed person. This is because sometimes when the trafficker takes them out to public, they would think that no one would do anything about it. The slave might be as well dressed because they are already underpaid and it’s hard to pay off their quota. You can help out by educating other people and educating people about their rights, especially immigrants because they are most targeted people in our country. It is shocking to know about the society we live in because border officials, embassy employees, immigration attorney, and law enforcement don’t know much about slavery and they are struggling to make stronger laws, that being said you can help out by reaching out to them by educating them and letting them know that you want to protect a human being. There are organizations trying to stop human slavery and it all starts with you, you could be the one that stops it, the most popular one is the Global Human Trafficking Hotline Network, this helps with spreading awareness in the human slavery field. Victims go through horrible courses but overall, it all starts with you. You can make the change and it could be a domino effect. Everyone thinks that slavery is super to get out of but little do they know they do not know what is happening to our real world. They do not know about the beating and mental problems these victims are going through, it is all sugar coded by people because, in some mindsets, they think that all they need is shelter and food, it's nonsense. Victims just want to have privacy and have a life but it is not easy when someone else someone else is taking away days or years from you. This is going on because traffickers want to make money out of humans and that is what slavery does to these humans. It is something everyone should be aware of because you could be walking alone or in an interview and little you know you might be someone’s income. Bring the word out, let everyone know.
