At the beginning of the 20th century, children’s protection started to be put in place, including protection in the medical, social and judicial fields. The Children’s Rights Movement has helped many children since it was founded and has helped to create many laws for children. Everyone should choose to support what the Children’s Rights Movement did for children around the globe and attempt to bring it back again. Everyone should support the Children’s Rights Movement because it has helped to protect many children. Firstly, The Children's Rights Movement promotes legal protections for children across the globe. First, there are many recent laws and movements that have been put in place to help children. Many people find it is unnecessary to support a movement that is old when they can support a more recent one. For example, one of those are the Convention on the Rights of the Child started in 1989 (Walls). Since then there have been many laws that have been put in place to protect children. Secondly, In spite of numerous laws and treaties, child labor remains an enormous problem, and millions of children lack access to basic education. Officially, more than 320 million children under age sixteen work worldwide and 25 percent of children do not complete a primary school education. In addition, almost 150 million children labor in the worst forms of work (Walls). The Children’s Rights Movement doesn’t help as many children as it should and because it doesn’t do what it tells people it will do, people shouldn’t support
