Why Is The Referees Wrong
People might think that the referee is wrong, but here are my reasons on how they are right? First of all, the referee is right because in games like Cricket, Soccer etc. Players from teams all around the world will argue with the Referee, this meaning that the Referee has the right to kick them off the field for arguing. Also, the referee is correct because mainly with Basketball and Soccer, they start to have fights when lets say in Basketball someone might trip, push, etc. This meaning other players from both teams start to get up and try to pick a fight, same goes with Soccer, the Referee has to get in between both of the teams sometimes getting hurt but they still have to stop the fight that is happening.

My second reason on why Referees are always right. I don’t know why people are so mean and hateful to people who are just trying to do there jobs, what I’m trying to say is I’ve watched many sport shows and all I’ve seen is just the Referees trying to stop fights, kicking people off the pitch or court and people on the sidelines yelling and screaming. This is wrong and I don’t know how we can stop this but we have to try.

Coming back to Referees have to stop fights, people at home might be watching the game until the Referee has to stop a fight. My point is that the Referee might be getting called names from across the world when he is just doing his job, and what I think this is just wrong because people should not call other people names especially the

Before the second half starts, the players from both teams switch sides. The game is not over yet, Haiti starts off with the ball. Haiti tries to score some more goals, but El Salvador's defense wasn't going to let them off easy. El Salvador would take the ball away from Haiti, making clean plays to try to avoid the yellow cards. One of the El Salvador's players, A. Larín, made a dirty play to one of Haiti's player. Larín tripped him in a way where he was hurting for a bit. The referee talked to the players about the play and it turned into an argument between the…

Another incident with Goodes was in the indigenous round. Goodes performed a tradional indigenous spear-throwing dance into the crowd of fans from the opposing team. The opposing team booed Goodes claiming that his dance was violent and wrong. In New Zealand they perform their native dance ‘The Hakka’ towards the opposing team, a round of applause and respect follows ‘The Hakka’. However Goodes Australian dance is followed by boos, perhaps Goodes should of done the dance to his opposing team instead of the crowd or maybe fans who don’t like indigenous dances shouldn’t go to Indigenous Round games.…

I like watching England play but what completely naffs me off is when you get shouty fans yelling at the screen when it is glaringly obvious that they have no idea what is going on. For example shouting “referee!” for no reason at the telly when the ref isn’t even in sight and anyway, it’s not actually the ref it’s the lines man... Duuuh...!!!…

Baseball umpires who are deemed incompetent should be suspended or fired. Many umpires throughout the history of the game have made ridiculously wrong calls that even spectators could easily point out. Numerous of these wrong calls have cost players hits, homeruns, wins and even no- hitters. Something needs to be done in baseball to make it a much fairer sport such as increase the use of replay after close plays. Umpires who make absurd calls that everybody knows was wrong should be penalized. The wrong calls should then be changed after clearly showing a replay. Managers and players continuously argue with umpires they don’t agree with. Sometimes calls are very close and it is not the umpire’s fault but other times umpires make calls that would make anyone want to argue with them. Baseball needs to start getting tougher when it comes to umpires because it is starting to get out of control.…

This study by Michael Cusimano, which looked at ways to prevent injuries in hockey showed that there are rule changes that can help to prevent injuries. One of these rule change is putting a ban on body checking. These rules need to change because of statistics like body checking causing 15% of all injuries in youth hockey (Cusimano). He also found that in leagues that allowed body checking, the players were significantly more likely to suffer concussions or fractures (Cusimano). When facts like this are shown, it shows how one simple rule change at younger levels can do a lot to lessen the risk of…

Yes, it is an existing problem, and yes it is harmful to the league but work ethics shouldn’t interfere with a player’s freedom. For example, harsher rules such as placing guards in hotel hallways to make sure players are in their rooms the night before games, restricting where players can go in their free time, so they will stay out of bars or clubs that are known trouble spots, and even following players after practice to monitor how they behave in public, and intervene if problems occur might sound like a perfect way to stop them from doing anything wrong, but this also restricts their freedom to the limit. In time, players will start complaining because they will not be able to live their life’s normally by being monitored 24/7, plus this could upset their fans and that could result in…

Have you ever been injured before? In many sports they are very common because the contact is necessary. When you see a cheap shot or a player that has lost his cool and headhunting, as a ref what do you do? That’s where these new rules come in, although they slow the game down a lot, its probably in the interest of safety. The new rules only increase the time in the box, therefore are not a good change to the game.…

The problems that we are having now in football at this time is the head injuries that are arising we feel that football is an amazing but at the same time dangerous sport .The reason we feel that football is a dangers sport is because to many young men are seriously affected by this sport. Contact sports today such as hockey are very fast paced, and dangerous. Due to the high level of contact in the game of hockey, injuries such as the concussion have become more common. Due to the injury, the National Hockey league has made various changes in rules and which has impacted the way the game is played. As both a player and a fan of the sport, I disagree with the alterations that have been made. In my argument, I intend to show organizations such as the National Hockey League that the injuries come from the players and that the added rules are lowering the enjoyment of the game. The NHL has no doubt increased the safety of players. However, numerous players and fans feel as if the enjoyment of the game has decreased. The big hits and fighting are what…
