Why Is Trump Persuasive Essay
Is Trump a con man, and a good one at that? Marco Rubio believes so. At the beginning of the political race we all know how Trump and Christie got at it and literally bagged on each other every chance they got. So why is it now that Christie decides to drop out of the race, and send of all of his support to Trump? To anyone who has a brain this should ring a bell, Trump does have the advantage with his popularity. Christie has a large amount of trust whereas Trump does not, is this just another trick on Trump to up his ratings and gain some trust? Or maybe Christie just cannot stay out of the spotlight and is using Trump to get it. Even though Trump and Christie don’t share the same view they do both agree that Hillary should not be president!

Christie is a great detective author because of how many styles she incorporates in her stories and how many games she likes to “play” at one time. For instance, In the Mysterious Affair, Christie uses the element of hidden identity or impersonation. In this method, the murder is allowed to move freely within a familiar environment without arousing any suspicion. For example, the main character devised his murder plan in the most secretive manner possible and then waited until he had no suspicion on him, but made sure there was much confusion between the rest of the circle until he was able to act and make his move. After reading the puzzle game, I do find it helpful to understand detective fiction, especially with this piece by Christie. I was able to pick up on the scheme of things and pick out the murderer much quicker since I knew certain techniques and rules to the game.…

While discussing Trump’s business acumen Epstein felt it was necessary to establish that business success doesn’t correlate to political success, however, the two are not mutually exclusive and Trump could be multi-talented. The article also felt it was necessary to mention that Epstein had never read Trump’s book, it also then goes on to criticize the book by stating he has no interest in reading “The Art of the Deal.” This unnecessary and critical comment further enforces the idea that Epstein believes Trump is not fit to be president. In the concluding paragraph Epstein cements the idea that financial success does not transfer to political success. He then goes on to criticize Trump calling him arrogant and claiming his business prowess won’t transfer to his political career. Some of these statements may be based off of truth, but, to be a subjective article one can not put personal opinion in their…

In“Trump’s Bluster Is Heard Around the World,” an article published on Yahoo! Politics by Gregory Katz, sarcastic tone and vivid descriptions portray Donald Trump as a selfish human being to manipulate readers he will not be a good president. Katz’s sarcastic and criticizing tone adds to the negative view of Trump presented in this article;“His is clearly a recognized name worldwide, which is not to say it's a beloved one.” Katz then proves this point by quoting individuals from around the world. In the first description of Trump, a woman who lives next to a Trump resort calls Trump a spoiled “strange fish.” She then describes his toddler-like tantrums, causing an image of diaper wearing Trump whining and flopping for what he wants to pop into our heads. Katz’s next proof is a video of Mexican comedians dressed as Donald Trump performing an act written from his statements. The comedians are all wearing fake guts, Neanderthal clothing, and blonde wigs. Katz writes, “It's striking how many people know of him at all,” as if Trump is some new American celebrity who is just now getting attention for his statements. It is almost impossible to not recognize the Trump name. His name is on everything he owns, and he owns buildings, programs, and boats worldwide. Trump had been known by the world way before he decided to run for president. To end the article and finish his characterization of Trump, Katz writes,“That would be one side of Trump that few if any have seen — one who says ‘sorry’.” Like Buzzfeed and Alphacat, Katz includes mockery of Trump so viewers will chuckle at their possible leader. This humor alongside Katz’s sarcastic and condescending tone alarm readers that Trump is well known, not well…

“Trump ran as a divider, not a uniter. He won that way -- offering safe harbor for people who had long resented politicians who told them they had to accept those who didn't look like them, sound like them or think like them” (Cillizza). Again, Trump used the propaganda technique, plain-folks appeal, to appear the same as the voters, in order to win the Presidential…

Online, physically, or verbally you can be a victim of being bullied. You don’t have to keep things as they are. The question is how to handle the situation (Do you attack the bully and become the bully yourself? Or do you ignore the bully and pretend all is well?) What you do is speak up and ask for help. I would know, because not only was I a victim, I was also a person who stood by and simply watched it happen.…
