One factor of having a budget is how they get their money. If they work for their money and have a job I feel as if they allowed using their money how they want but it would always be smarter to have a budget. If they get money from their parents it should definitely have a budget. You can have a certain amount of the
money for important things they need first and then have left over money for what they want. The parents can tell their kid how to have a budget just to let them know so they would know how to before they go crazy with the money they get.
Another factor would have to be if the parent needs their kid to pay for their own phone bill or something like gas if the kid has a job and is making a decent amount of money. Having a budget in this case would make sure you’d pay for your needs like gas and food and the phone bill. The kid may not have much money left over but it would be for the best and it will also show how responsible the kids can be.
The last factor would be if the parents want to let their kid learn the hard way about budgets at a young age which would be let them spend it by themselves and not give them extra money, or they can try and teach them the easy way by trying to get them on a budget and show them examples. I believe the best way would be to teach them about budgets and show examples. I think kids should have a budget to help them and teach them so they are ready for their future.
Younger people under 18 that live with their parents should have a budget to go by. A main factor is depending how they get their money and how much they get. The parents could also need help with little bills such as the kid’s gas money or something that doesn’t cost too much. A budget can also show how much responsibilities a kid can handle. This will help a kid in his/her future and how he handles his money.
