I believe there should be less testing because it takes up valuable time, money, and there are too many of them. In this section I will be talking about how many tests we take. Between preschool and being a senior we take about 112 tests. Taking all of those tests takes up about 20-25 hours each year. I’m not saying to end all tests just to get rid of some of them so we don’t take as many. Getting rid of some of the tests would end a lot of issues in the process. This part explained how many tests we take and how to fix it. In this part I will tell you how stressful it is to take the tests. For some people they get so stressed over the test they throw up. This shows how much pressure they're putting us to do well. I imagine being so stressed out wouldn’t get you much sleep. The time on tests could be used to make us smarter instead of testing how smart we are. Instead of knowing how smart we are, we should become smarter. Some teachers do teaching to the test where they are practicing testing every week. This gets rid of time we could spend learning more things. Testing time should be used for learning more things. Other people have stated that it gives us useful information about schools. It costs a small amount of money per student.
