Why Murder Is Wrong
There is an understanding that murder is bad and should be punished and dealt with in an appropriate manner. Murder itself is wrong because one person is taking away someone's life and Murder is one of the most vindictive crimes in the world and can leave a big affect on many people. In the bible one of the ten commandments is thou shalt not kill, so when someone takes another person's life they are breaking that commandment. The only time a person should be held accountable for a murder in a indirect sense is when the person is committing a crime, but shouldn't if they so happen to kill a person for a natural cause like someone driving has a stroke and hits someone. This is an action that should be looked at like the person didn't kill him

The decision in the case of Woolin where the House of Lords speak of intention being found from foresight of consequences makes the law unclear as the previous case of Moloney ruled that foresight of consequences was not intention. The Law Commission favours the view that the jury may find that the defendant intended to kill or cause serious harm if they are sure that the defendant realised the victim was certain to die or suffer serious injury if the defendant did what they were set upon doing.…

Does killing ever justify murder? Capital punishment, also known as the death penalty, is the act of killing criminals for heinous acts that they’ve committed, generally homicide. I believe that capital punishment is a social injustice because it is unconstitutional and unethical. Those against capital punishment question the surety of the offender’s guilt, economic costs, and the supposedly unbiased judges. There are two sides to every coin though, and there are many reasons to support capital punishment as well. Those who agree with capital punishment argue that it dissuades others from attempting similar crimes and is a fair retribution for lives lost. Of all the varied topics included when discussing capital punishment, one of the most frightening to think about is the possibility that the wrong man may have died.…

Murdering is violence in any circumstance. If we kill someone who killed another man then who will kill us? All religions agreed that God gives life to human and only God has the power to take it away. In many cases victim’s relatives want to take revenge but in a modern and civilized world there is no place to hostility. “Why kill people who kill people to show that killing people is wrong?” (The john Howard society of Ontario, March 2001, page 1).…

Capital Punishment is the killing of a convicted person who has committed a violent and heinous crime. Capital punishment, or the death penalty, is determined through a court of law and is not enforced in all states of the United States of America. It is not used in all murder cases, only those who have been convicted of committing atrocious killings (Hood). The death penalty is solely utilized for the cases in which the convict has committed a crime that has made him or her potentially a threat to society. Some of the crimes committed that receive the death penalty in the state of Texas include: multiple murders, planned murder, repeated crimes, and/or rape and murder. The death penalty has been used since the beginning…

In the Bible it states that “…if a man schemes and kills another man deliberately, take him away from my alter and put him to death. (Exodus 21:13)”. If it was okay in biblical times, why is it not okay today? The reason is because people have gotten too caught up in human rights and fail to realize that if a person kills another person, it’s not fine. The justice system has given murderers more rights than the victim, and it is sickening. Why would you want to sympathize with someone who just killed, for instance, a 6 year old girl? Not only does the Bible justify the death penalty once, but it states it again in another book; “If anyone takes the life of a human being, he must be put to death. (Leviticus 24:17)” Even with this proof, people still won’t accept the fact that killing is not the worst crime a human can possibly commit. Lucky for them they are not the grieving family that just buried a loved one.…

Is there such a thing as justified killing? Many would argue that the killing of another individual is by far one of the worse crimes that can be committed. Though under certain circumstances such as capital punishment, or to kill in self-defense, justified killing is okay. These options are only acceptable if there is no viable alternative to doing so. Everyone has the right to live, and once someone decides to kill another individual then they should lose that right. They don’t deserve to have the right of life if they want to take the life of an innocent person. Many believe that it is not right to kill someone, but if you are protecting yourself or someone else in need of protection then it is okay, thus making the killers actions acceptable. However, I personally believe that there are better alternatives than death to resolving conflicts.…
