Everyone needs to have a Dog Everyone needs a dog because they are like a best friend. They keep people fit, busy, entertained, and are very cute. Dogs make an impact on kids’ lives by teaching them responsibility and patience by helping take care of the pet. Money is not as big as a problem as people say they are considering the owners only buy them food about once a month. Dogs help people maintain companionship, socialization, as well as regular exercise. Companionship is one of dog’s great attributes. They listen to their owners and are trained to follow them wherever they go. For the most part dogs will obey commands and are not to hyper. Every night from when a dog is bought
to when it leaves it will cuddle up with their owner before they go to bed. Dogs help people maintain socialization. They are a great subject to talk about with other people that also own a dog. “Puppies require exercise and walking, and the required activity get people out and about” (“Good (and Bad) Reasons to get a Dog”). Also they provide meaning and structure to ones life.
Regular exercise is easier with a dog. They need two to three walks a day that means their owner gets two to three walks a day as well. “A dog can not go without daily exercise” (“Good (and Bad) Reasons to get a Dog”). Exercising is way more fun to have a buddy come with people for most dog owners. Dogs are a big help in people’s lives outside of their own world. It helps parents set a good example for their children by showing them the responsibilities of an adult. People say that dog’s behavior ruins their furniture and household items but really it is their fault for not training their dog properly. Which is not very hard to do anyways. They are extremely loyal and no matter what happen after they get a dog it will not feel the same way again without a dog in the house. A dog is not only a man’s best friend, but also help peoples lives in the future.
