I went and saw Anatomy of Gray at Orange Community Play House in Orange, Texas. I went on a a Thursday night and it was performed by the Orange Community Players. The play was ultimately about a town who does not have a doctor. A young woman prays and wishes for a doctor to come to the town because the community was starting to get sick. When the doctor arrives and begins to help everyone but falls in love with the young ladys mother. Everyone in the community starts to get sick and is begining to die. The mother makes the daughter and the doctor leave the town which is the only way to stay alive.…

The boy’s father is a small farmer and the family is stressed because of money problems and it is a really rough time for them. Sounder the family dog goes hunting is very close to the father and goes hunting with him every night. Each day the boy’s father and Sounder come back from hunting empty handed. One morning the boy wakes up and smells delicious food and sees that there is ham being cooked. The little mouse comes out of a mouse hole in the wall, and is wondering down a shady old hallway while upbeat music plays. It sniffs its way around, when it finds a mouse trap with cheese in it. As expected, the mouse makes its way over to the trap, and starts to inspect the cheese and eventually takes a bite out of it. In result of the cheerful music, the audience, who is anyone watching television, expects that the mouse might actually escape death. All of a sudden, a little ‘ding’ in the music goes off, and the audience is lead to believe that the mouse has had an idea because it moves and gets on top of the trap. The upbeat music turns out to be the song, “Top of the World” by The Carpenters. Just as the mouse climbs onto the trap, the song says ‘I’m on top of the world’ giving a feeling of how the mouse probably feels at that moment.…

As we headed out of town we saw a massive buck easily 26in wide and at least a 6 by 6. We really wished it was deer season because, we would have shot him, but sadly it wasn’t. There was a slave in ancient Carthage. His master was very cruel. He used to beat him severely over trifles. The slave was tired of this life. He ran away into a jungle nearby and hid himself in a cave. Very soon a lion entered the cave. The slave was terrified. He, however, soon saw that the lion was groaning with pain. The slave went near the lion to see what the matter was. The lion held up his wounded paw. The slave saw a big thorn stuck in the paw. He pulled out the thorn. The lion in gratefulness began to lick his hand. They became friends and lived happily. After sometime the slave went to Carthage. His master saw him and caught him. According to the custom prevailing there, the slave was ordered to face the hungry lion. It was soon announced that a slave would fight a hungry lion. Thousands of people went to the arena to see this fight. A hungry lion was soon let loose. To the surprise of everyone the lion began to lick the feet of the slave. The governor who was present to watch the show was also surprised. He sent for the slave and asked why the hungry lion had not cared to attack him. The slave was in tears.
