It might also be invaded if you’re watched by a peeping Tom, even if no secrets are ever revealed” (St. Martin’s Guide to Writing, pg. 164) This quote explains how privacy isn’t just about someone always trying to hide things from an authority figure. Privacy can mean many different things, including having privacy when you get dressed, or take a shower, or even go to the bathroom. However, privacy is important because not everyone in the world needs to be seeing your own emails, or your bank account stuff. Therefore, there should be more laws that help protect our bank account information, and help protect our emails. I agree
