Shlomi was misbehaving and was told to sit out for a few minutes to reflect on his behavior and the choices he should make. Shlomi started screaming and hitting his head on his knee. Staff asked Sholomi to stop hurting himself but he continued. Shlomi suddenly stopped, pick up his back pack and started to walk towards the park’s gate that opens to the road. Camp counselor, Jorge arrived at the gate before Shlomi and held it closed. Shlomi then ran to the west fencing and started too squeezed through the fence. Jorge and camp counselor Janet tried to hold Shlomi by the arm so he couldn’t escape through the gate and run into the street. Camp Supervisor, Tamatri told both counselors to let him go because Shlomi was violently pulling and there was a concern that he would injure himself. …show more content…
Tamatri and camp counselor, Brandon were on the outside of the fence and blocked Shlomi from running away. Shlomi then squeezed through the fence again and reentered the park. He sprinted to the back off the park. Tamatri and Jorge tried to block him from getting out of the park.     Mrs. Weera helped Shauzia into the refugee camp. Although some people would kill to get into there and have any sort of food and shelter, Shauzia wants more. When she asks to get paid for all of her services that she has done in the camp, Mrs. Weera denies even the thought of it. “ ‘You don’t know what it’s like out there. You’ve always been taken care of. You won’t be able to manage on your own’ ” (Ellis 19). Shauzia was furious by this accusation and made up her mind immediately. She would leave this camp and prove herself to Mrs. Weera. But when Shauzia had been delivered back to the camp after a very interesting journey alone in Peshawar, she realizes that they don’t care if she proves herself or not. To Shauzia, it seemed as though Mrs. Weera did not care enough to even pay her any attention. So Shauzia devised a plan to sneak into the locked flour shack and prove herself once again by stealing flour for her part of camp.
