Including, an object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force (not unbalanced forces) and an object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force (law of inertia), acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass and the greater the mass the greater the amount of force needed, and every action has an equal and opposite reaction. These laws are significant. They help us understand how things work. Without them we would know a lot less and have less inventions than we do now. These laws relate to the extinction of the dinosaurs in several ways. Such as, how the comet that collided with the Earth followed Newton’s laws by remaining in motion until it hit Earth, having an equal and opposite reaction on the Earth causing a mass extinction, and
