Time management is a lifesaver for college students. Today with full course loads, part time jobs and numerous other commitments students often find themselves with little time for studying and recreation. Students who choose to plan his or her day by properly managing time will benefit greatly. One of the many steps to make time management effective is to develop a time strategy. The time strategy should be based on a short list of time priorities. This short list of time priorities forms the basis for a student's time planning for every week of the year. Good time management for a student requires three points. The first of the three points that a student should keep in his or her mind is not taking on more than he or she can handle. If a student has scheduled to many classes to take in one semester then the workload can be overwhelming. Next a student should reasonably estimate the time required to perform each of the tasks at hand. If A student does not find out how long each tacks is going to take then he or she will be running behind in time and will not be able to perform all the tacks that are require for that day. And finally he or she needs to actually do what needs to be done. If a student is not a head of schedule, then he or she is behind schedule. Because if he or she tries to remain right on schedule, then any mishap or misjudgment will cause he or she to fall behind. For example when a student has a deadline and he or she does not have a printer at home and the printer in the library is broken, no recovery time is possible. Therefore the skills that must be learned are the lifesaving skills of time management Time management are skills that a student or anyone will carry with him or she throughout…

The current issue that Confluence has chosen to examine is time management. Time management can be defined as: "The process of exercising conscious control over how much time to spend on specific activities." It is an issue that is of great importance to many employees across many different sectors of the workforce; many employees struggle with it in a day-to-day basis. The reality of the current work environment, for a lot of employees, is becoming distracted or being taken off task is a very easy thing to do. This decreases productivity for the company that they work for, and often creates a backlog of work for the employee which must be handled quickly. A quick pace of working through assignments and projects may decrease the quality of the work and increase the stress on the employee. The issue of time management is important to management in the workplace for several reasons. Quality time management by employees leads to higher quality work. If work done by employees is spaced out over a longer time at less intensity, the quality of work will be higher as the employee are able to take their time with the work and reflect upon any mistakes that may have been made during the process. Time management for employees is also important for today's managers as it allows employees to properly prioritize their work. Properly prioritized work gets done in the order which it needs to be, thus decreasing stress on both the employees and managers.…

"Time is what we want most, but what we use worst,” said famous philosopher William Penn. Most of us let this happen much too often these days. We procrastinate and waste time on things that are unimportant or unnecessary instead of being productive on things that are of significance. Time is very hard to manage, because we can neither see it nor feel it until it has passed, and by that time it is too late. Time management does not only allow us to get more out of our day, but assists with making each of us a better person. Dictionaries define time as the hours and days in which a person has at his/her disposal.…

“How often do you find yourself saying, “In a minute”, “I’ll get to it”, or “Tomorrow’s good enough” and every other possible excuse that you come up with? Compare it with how often you decide it’s got to be done, so let’s get on and do it! That should tell you just how serious your procrastinating problem really is” (Stephen Richards). Time management is a serious problem with approximately 80% of the population. Many people don’t know how to use time. Time is limited, so we better spend it on some fancy things and not waste it. The problem with time is that people usually don’t meet the exact time that they already set. It seems like when it comes to use time, nothing take place exactly to what had been done. The biggest population that doesn’t know how to use time is those Marshallese people. They really don’t know how to be on time. There is the saying “Marshallese time” which means for example, if the event was suppose to start at 5, Marshallese time mean 6. They always get late and maybe they really get used to this late attitude. Time management means to manage your time wisely and use them for the most important reasons such as study and all that. A person that can’t manage his/her time is really in a mess, compared to those that can manage their time, their life is all organized. Learn to manage time is not an easy thing that you can just snap and you know how to do. You must actually learn how to do it. Take the fact that you got to learn it seriously. There are plenty ways you can learn how to control your time, but there are only three that I think is the most and reasonable that a person must do. The three ways to learn how to manage time is to take a time management course, priorities your task, and learn to reduce stress.…
