( Garrison, 2016) The question, “Was the Civil War inevitable?” is important, however I feel asing “What if the Civil War had never happened?” is a vital thought. What kind of equal rights would our nation hold? I believe with the abandonment of Slavery in the North prior to the war, it would have went away in the South as well, without war.
