The Second World War was caused by several reasons. Some of the long term reasons include:
• Failure of the then League of Nations to maintain peace. This was mainly attributed to the fact that not all the countries across the world were members of the League of Nations. It was also influenced majorly by the fact that the League of Nations had little to no army there it was really difficult for them to handle the Nazis.
• Hitler was trying to restore German pride. Having miserably lost in the world war one, Germany was left beaten and broken. It was an almost powerless nation in the eyes of the world and Hitler wanted to change that and restore German pride.
• Germany felt that it was somewhat treated unfairly in the treaty of Versailles. The treaty of Versailles limited Germany’s powers and global activities. This infuriated the Hitler who only wanted to redeem Germany and take it back to its glory days.

He had a plan that changed the United States’ economy for many generations to come. Firstly, he decided to loan out troubled banks in order to get the saving system back on track. He also discouraged gold storage. He also started government projects that created jobs for the masses of unemployed Americans. He also allowed federal loans. This increased the amount of money in circulation. President Roosevelt funded the state welfare heavily. All these aspects resulted to the American economy slowly recovering from its darkest times even though the best days were behind it.
