Why Was World War 1 Inevitable

World War 1 did not begin until 1914, but its roots date back to the 19th and early 20th centuries. During these times Europeans were rising in achievement in many areas including science, agriculture, industry, and the arts. With these accomplishments, there was an unfortunate build up of jealousy, hatred, and competition between European nations. So many of these cases existed that World War 1 was truly inevitable. The basic causes were nationalism, imperialism, and militarism, which all brought many crises that finally began the war.
