Why We Should Have Year Round School
Year-round Schooling Some people think we should have year-round schooling because their children will remember what they learned over their short break. Others think we shouldn't have year-round schools because their minds will be ready to learn more after the long break. I understand that children need to keep their minds going and remember the things they learned but we shouldn't have year-round schooling because having to go through that much schooling will stress the children out and they don't need to get stressed out more than they already are. I have a friend that lives downstate so we wouldn't have much time to hang out and do things together because of the short breaks in year-round schooling. Children need a long break so their minds are ready for the next year of school. Children might forget what they learn, but it leaves more room for their brains to learn more the next year. We would have less time to spend with family and friends also.I have a friend that lives down state and she comes up every summer break so if she had year-round schooling and I didn't, she wouldn't be able to come up and hang out with me and vise versa. Year-Round schooling is also pricey. …show more content…
The school will need quite a bit of money when running the school because you would have to pay for all the school necessities. If a child needs money for school trips, parents will have to give them money so they are allowed to go, If you ride on a bus or in a car, the driver will have to pay for gas to get you to and from school. Caretakers of the schools will also have to deal with the damage of the school. The school district will have to pay for all of the damage done to the school, but if they don't have enough money to pay for everything they will have to work even harder than they did before to keep the school
