How did they make temples?

made with everyday items. They would be made with more expensive and rare items such as, stone and marble. Temples were decorated carefully with a lot of detail on the inside and out. The marble would be, carved, polished, and painted. Temples would sometimes be partly gold therefor, Pretty expensive. The more important the god was, the more work a priest or priestess had to do on the temple.
