This essay is an exercise in what might be called metaphysical sociology.
Metaphysical sociology focuses on the meaning questions that confront all humans, questions about origins, about what to do with one's life, and about death. This talks about the death of people from actors to salesperson and how it matters to the people that are rich not poor. A Lot of rich people have died who are still remembered today but a lot of poor people have died and know one has a clue of whom they are. Also when a rich or a famous person dies the police directly find the killer, but if it was an unknown person, the police would not leave the case unknown killer. Also if a famous person does something bad they would most likely bail him out quickly, unlike the poor person he will have to stay in person to the time he has been sentenced to. If a famous person rose a gun at a police officer, the police officer would not shoot him, on the other side the unknown person would be shot
directly.
This essay relates to The Outsiders in many ways. In the Outsiders when Bob died all the people cared and the police were crazy to find the killers. They put it on the news papers and put it everywhere. But when Johnny died only part of the greasers cared and then they moved on. Also when Dally raised the unloaded gun at the police the police directly shot Dally and killed him without even knowing that he had an unloaded gun.
