Winston Churchill's War
Winston was born in Blenheim palace, November 30, 1874. His childhood was spent running and playing through the hallways of Blenheim palace. Churchill actually never really got along with his parents, so they sent him to boarding school where after he joined the military. Churchill fought in many different wars including WWI when he was a teenager and WWII when he was Prime Minister. Churchill would make money by writing true stories of what was actually happening in the war, instead of the lies being told on tv. Soon Churchill was elected to Parliament under an all American PM, Nancy. In 1927, the UN created the Kellogg Leon Pact, which outlawed any kind of war. That surprisingly only lasted 3 years until Hitler came to power.
During
that time the French Fleet was taunting the British saying their fleet was bigger and better. Churchill wanted to impress Roosevelt and also to get rid of the fleet since they had a great chance of beating the Royal fleet. Even though the French wanted to come after England, they had a bigger enemy at hand, and if Hitler invaded France they would blow their entire fleet. When America had entered the war we were bombing Germany, but couldn’t reach our target, and we would only be killing civilians which didn’t hurt Germany. When Hitler was being extremely dumb and stupid, and tried to take Russia in the middle of winter, they were bombing Berlin while German troops were marching through the winter desert.
When England was being bombed, Churchill wanted to use poison gas on the Germans since England didn’t have enough soldiers. Either way they tried to raise moral and to fight back. The royal family participated in the war, Princess Elizabeth was a mechanic, the Queen visited many hospitals and that is where the phrase, ‘the Queen mother God Bless her’ came from. Churchill was also going to go as well until the King said he would go if Churchill was going, but Churchill didn’t want to possibly kill the King and himself in one day, so he sat out of the fun. Churchill didn’t know how the outcome would be, but he knew for sure that England would never give up.
