conditions.
One of the reason why there was child labor was because of their small sizes that caused them to have the ability to fit in small spaces in factories where as adults were big and could not get the job done as easily as children could.
Another reason why child labor was permitted was because children were also very gullible which made it easier for them to be control. This is shown in the history network of History “Although children had been servants and apprentices throughout most of human history, child labor reached new extremes during the Industrial Revolution.
Children often worked long hours in dangerous factory conditions for very little money. Children were useful as laborers because their size allowed them to move in small spaces in factories or mines where adults couldn’t fit, children were easier to manage and control and perhaps most importantly, children could be paid less than adults.” This means that in the industrial revolution children were taken advantage of. Something else that occurred in the industrial revolution was that there were a lot of
manufacturing.
Some examples of the machines that were invented during the industrial revolution was power loom , Bessemer process , Interchangeable parts. The power by a line shaft , and was one of the key development in the early industrial revolution. Used water as power and made the weaving process faster. The Bessemer process for the mass-production of steel.
This an example of a machine making progress in the industrial revolution. In the 1760 scottish engineer James Watt invented the steam engine which was used in factories. This invention was powered by coal. This proves that the industrial revolution was very unstable for women and children in the 1760 through the 1840s. In the other hand the industrial revolution was very stable in the manufacturing they invented many inventions that is used today but more improved. In conclusion the industrial revolution was mostly unstable then stable.
