One day before the system was released… An individual shot through what appeared to be a glowing blue circle.

Woosh! A burst of air carried the shadow. Crashing downwards at a frighteningly quick pace.

Passing one grove of trees again and again the figure fell stumbling beyond the likes of branches and leaves. Flowing through them as if it were water, if water were sharp and pointy. It slowed his rate of descent.

The figure lightly gritted his teeth as he was thrown to the base of the forest at last. The shade of the tree dusting off his heavy fatigue in a slow and monotonous way; the shade was nigh too useless to affect his wounds in any way shape or form. The injuries were that severe.

He was going to die before the moon hung itself in the sky. If he was able to help it that would not be true. While he did have quite the day he had one more thing to do. One that had been bothering him this entire time.

This blue screen that was hovering right in front of him.

Welcome to the system! In your mind say ‘status’ to view your stats.

He kept moving at a snail's pace while dividing the rest of his attention towards the blue screen. It was too particular, it reminded him of the games he amused himself with when he was still on earth.

He felt a dose of nostalgia kick in. “Yeah, those were the times…” his voice briskly whispered.

He dragged himself towards a cave that he saw a glimpse of when he came crashing down from the sky.

His back heavy, his breath was starting to slow. He did not have much time left if he was going to be able to do something about his survival.

And if he did not have his pride he would of gave up. If he survived then this near-death experience would have been worth

It was in his last breaths that he realized what he was truly missing from his experience, people. In the end he contradicted all ideas he had before, and truly had a groundbreaking discovery. His epiphany made him realize how really important family and friends were. All the beauty he found, every skill he learned, and discoveries about himself he made didn’t matter, because he had no one to share it with. He wouldn’t have thought this way had he not gone on the journey. His hate for the dysfunctional relationship between his parents, and his secluded feeling would have kept him separated from his family mentally. The journey in which he was physically separated from his family made him learn how truly important they were. In the end he accepted who he was and called himself by his real…

From inside we could hear Phineas fall clumsily down the white marble stairs. Everyone stayed calm as we rushed outside to assist him. Finny said he couldn’t move or feel his legs and people started splitting up to go get help and shouting orders. Once the doctors and nurses arrived some of us helped to move him to the infirmary. After what seemed like hours Dr. Stanpole came out to tell us the news. He told us something we never expected. Phineas severed his spine. He was paralyzed from the waist down and would never be able to walk again. He said that Phineas needed rest so everyone should go back to their rooms. Everyone left but I was frozen. It was almost as if I had fallen with Phineas, I couldn’t bring my legs to move or walk away.…

He knew that he might get caught again, but even if he made it out alive or ended up dead, he still chose to go on with his plan. I tried to commit suicide”. This shows that he had already had the thoughts in the back of his mind about life and death, but being so intoxicated he almost acted upon it. This is important because he did not want to feel at that low point again, instead he got more involved with the clubs at…

3:15 am, I lie in the spot of my bed I’d always gone to for comfort, now lying there unable to move, think, breathe, sleep, trying to wrap my mind around the fact that my world would never be the same again. Randomly waking up in the early hours of the morning is something I rarely do, so waking up at 3:06 am looking around my room, seeing Kierra also happen to wake up wasn’t right. Looking over at my phone, seeing Mrs. Jennie was calling me, I hesitantly answered, unsure of what to expect. Still half asleep, I asked, “Hello?”. Is everything okay?”…
