Do you think you have a large English vocabulary? Do you want to relax and have some fun after a long and exhausting day? Do you believe you are as smart as Einstein and Newton? Do you want to show off your puzzle-solving skills? Let’s play the Word Search Game!
You might be wondering, what is the Word Search Game? It is a puzzle game running on a command window that asks you to find all the legitimate English words in a game board, which is a two-dimensional array of English letters and the “*” character.
Once the game is started, you will see a game board. Your job is to guess one word at a time and the computer will tell you if you are correct or not. You can keep playing until either you quit the game or you successfully find all the correct words. Once the game ends, all the correct words will be displayed to you, and you can also see your score (a percentage representing the number of words you guessed correctly out of all the correct words). Then, you can choose if you want to play the same game again or exit.
Here are the detailed instructions that guide you step by step on how to play the game.

According to an author, James Paul Gee, “Situated Meaning and Learning”, he explains about the difference between understanding a main topic of books with situated meaning and comprehending a main idea of booklets without embodied experience.
