A zombie apocalypse is most definitely not a very friendly world. It is hard to find friends who aren’t going to shoot you on sight, and if you do find somebody, a thorough body inspection is in for the both of you. So what should you do, if the situation ever arises? I will explain to you the Do’s and Do not’s of a zombie apocalypse.…
Back in January, thousands of birds dropped dead out of the sky in Arkansas, followed by more birds randomly dying in Louisiana shortly thereafter. Throw in 100,000 drum fish showing up dead in rivers, freak snowstorms that demolished the South, and dogs and cats living together (mass hysteria!), it has become blatantly clear: the zombie apocalypse is near, my friends.…
My group was called the lizards. It was Briley, Emma, Jackson, Kailey, and I. We did our project about Millennial college stereotypes: reality versus perception. We talked about the academic, resident, and social life of college. Working in this group and projected allowed me to realize that everyone’s strengths come out unintentionally and that you must trust and compromise a lot in a group.…

I absolutely loved this project and experience overall. We got the idea for this project after seeing the movie, "Freedom Writers". I went with three of my four other teammates to see it for our first paper and when we walked out, the three of us couldn't shut up about how much we loved and were inspired by the movie. On the way back from the movie, we got the idea to do a spin off of the movie for our project. The whole way home from the theater we were coming up with ideas for our upcoming project. When we finally began working on the project, it fell into place fairly well because we were so intrigued with the inspiration we each had. This project brought forward so many new aspects of teaching to my attention and really got me motivated…
I do enjoy working with groups to do projects such as, mousetrap car, bottle rockets, and bridges because it gets done faster. Also we put our creative minds together to format one specific idea and we learn new things. Creating projects based upon engineering drawings are easier because we just have to make it come to life, but when we have to create the idea ourselves its harder and the process is longer. Innovating ideas such as bottle rockets and bridges are also interesting. You may find a way to…
If my next class has group projects, I think I am better prepared in how the process can go and how to handle certain situations due to what I have learned in this class. Group projects are all based on how well you can click and work together in a group.…
“Our role is to develop techniques that allow us to provide emergency life-saving procedures to injured patients in extreme, remote environment without the presence of a physician” (Chris Hadfield). The procedures in the case of a zombie apocalypse are fatal to citizens’ survival. Follow the tips on communication, evacuation, and safety to increase your chances of survival. With the public announcements and everyday communication, people will be able to stay up to date on the current situation. If the procedures are followed quickly and correctly, the tragedy of a zombie apocalypse should be eliminated.…
Working in group in Communication Strategies in Professional Life class give me many experiences. Working in group with several people which I never worked with make me an opportunity to practice several skill, which are management, communication, brainstorming skill. It is very happy to work with group, because we can share the knowledge and brainstorming to make our work better. The result of work is quite better than doing alone. While working in group, we had some conflict, but we can solve that very well. Lastly, I feel very happy to be a part of group in this…
Also group work doesn’t seem to go well in regular classes because it's more of a social hour rather than an actual study session. Furthermore individual work in regular classes helps get work done much quicker leading to no homework that night. Even so that individual work makes understanding the concept easier with less distractions. It works best in regular classes because majority of the class time is spent reviewing and starting the homework in class. Additionally the act of making decisions is much easier because it's your own opinion. In the end though you're the only one responsible for your work and the one that gets the credit. There's no worry of being taken advantage of.…
A group is three or more people that interact over time, they depend on each other, share a common rules of conduct in achieving a common goal. One of the strength of this group work is thorough; because we worked as a group we were very thorough with the work. Strength is creativity, the group came up with different ideas, which made the work better to accomplish. The other strength was that working as a group will make the group members to be more committed. The limitation is basically time, that is never enough, in our case we had little time for the work. Another limitation is the pressure to conform, which was a factor in our group.…
What I learned working in a group is that if you work together you can get stuff done faster and not worry about anything. That is what i learned about working in a group together.…
Group projects can be extremely difficult in many ways such as, getting all of your members in one spot at the same time or all agreeing on the same topic or goal. Group projects can sometimes seem like an added burden, however, I think that group projects help nursing students develop as professional nurses. I believe this because having a group project you not only have be committed to yourself, but you are committed to your group. You are reliable not only for your own grade, but for the grade of your members as well. You develop professional relationships with your group members giving you experience by working with others. Working in a group is related to a professional nurse because you have to sometimes think…
Would you prefer to do an important college assignment as part of a team with otherstudents, or individually on your own?…
In a group you can divide the work among several people, which can help get the job done. When having group members each member can have a part to do in the project, which puts less work on you. You can get more work done with a group than by yourself in the same amount of time. For Example, in history we had to do a PowerPoint about cultures, so I decided to work in a group. We split the work in parts among the group members and we finished the group project in 1 day. We later received an A and I was happy, that I collaborated with other students for the project.…
