There’s a time in life when teens want to get a head jump into their adulthood. To show that they’re maturing, some teenagers start smoking, while others start dating to show their responsibility and commitments towards relationships, but most of them start working part- time in order to have money to do the things they wish to do. In fact, I got my first job at the age of 15 when I was a freshman in high school. The reason why I chose to work was because I wanted to save some money for college. Although I work to save money for school, many of my friends work to save money for new-fashioned clothing and shoes. As a result of working, my GPA dropped from a 3.83 to 3.55 during my senior year. Earning money to spend can be a good thing, but having a job does hurt a teenager in several ways. Therefore, students who are attending school shouldn’t work during the school year because working has a negative effect on the student’s school success as well as his/her future.…

Whether a student should work depends mainly on the student’s ability to work without getting too stressed out and adversely affecting grades and other activities. When finances are a factor, it can be much more difficult for a person to attend class on a regular basis or even take classes each semester. If money is a problem, then it is usually necessary for the student to decide if work is more necessary than school. Students who must work part or even full-time to pay the bills need to plan their work and school schedules very carefully. It is vital that their employer gives them the flexible schedule they need in order to attend classes. This has been a highly debated topic all over the world. With education now becoming more costly day by day it has become difficult for people to pay for their education. Unlike in the past students now days have a higher scope in various different fields. Turning to the economic aspect of present leading nations, instability is on the rise, therefore leading to parents not being able to pay for their children’s education and the children/students having to work. As we know that in countries like the United States of America children are trained and expected to work after the age of eighteen. I fully believe and am for students working and studying at the same time. While studying and working the student now learns the value of money and education. The two most important factors which a student must understand. When a student goes to get a job while he is studying, he probably does not get a job which pays him a lot but he learns to struggle and realizes the importance of education. This leads to him studying as he now would not want to an average student as he knows where he could land up. Also with the student working he will now not waste money chemicals or any other substance abuse, in fact he will think twice before spending even a dollar because he now knows how difficult it is to earn a dollar. Also now when the when student is bored is can switch from learning to working, not only for money but this also broadens his scope in the field of work. It is also proven that many people who just work to pay their university fees land up changing their profession or what they want to pursue as they suddenly realise that their interests lie in something very different from their current. The practice is a good way to fix the students’ knowledge’s. Many students now try getting jobs related to their field, this way the get on job experience of their subject and can also use the information they gain while working in their university, like a student studying hotel…

Some students believe that to have more chances and to be competed with others student in future job career, they should have job while they are studying. It is true. In this case, when they graduate, they will have more experiences and chances to get a high paid job than other students who wait until they finish their degree. In some countries like mine (Cambodia), work will affect their study. For those who have job while they are student, they will busy with work. Sometime they have some problems with their work and they have stress and they feel tired, so they would not want to come to study that make them missing class. Sometime they haven"t finish their work, so they take more time to do it, then they will miss some classes. Is it wrong for the action that we (student) should be penalized for missing classes? It is impossible. We should not be punished because we only make an effort for our future career and ourselves. If you wait until you finish your degree to get job, then you will be hard to get a high paid job, but for those students I mentioned will get that position.…

Back in the days, colleges were affordable, and parents could have paid it all, and students only worked during summer times, just to earn some handy money, and even that was optional. Nowadays, most students work part time, unless you're filthy rich. But the students aren't to blame; it's the economy of the country or countries in question. Well now it's most of the world in the same situation. It's even harder on the international students, who are from less fortunate countries, seeking better education, and ultimately a better job than they could have in their homeland, being forced to work more than they get time to study. Eventually, they think why…
