The weapons that were used in World War I were horrid to the human body. One of the worst being Mustard Gas. This would cause blisters to form on the skin, along with internal blisters. The lungs would shut down, resulting in the victim not being able to pull oxygen into their lungs. Many victims of the gas would die after exposure. Many of the guns they used in World War I had flaws. Trench Warfare is very muddy when it rains and very dry when not raining, The mud and dust would jam the weapons, making it impossible to shoot back. This caused many deaths, failure of the weapons gave snipers a chance to aim longer at their target without getting shot at. Trench knives were also a very common used tool for killing.
