When World War II broke out which was years 1939 to 1945, about 45-60 million people were killed. And according to "World War II History." History.com. A&E Television Networks, n.d. Web. "Over the next six years, the conflict would take more lives and destroy more land and property around the globe than any previous war." The quote illustrates that World War II was one of the worst wars ever in history. During the conflict Adolf Hitler breaks the agreement and invades Soviet Union on June 22 1941, Hitler and his army overpowers them and captures the countries soldiers as they get deeper into Soviet Union territory. On the other hand America didn't want to be in the war, but was included when Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese
