If Ralph was an Epic Hero, he would belong in an Epic Poem, and sadly, the “bad guy pledge” is about as poetic as it gets. The story of Wreck it Ralph was written, animated, and released by the Walt Disney Company. The film does not credit any true or before written story. The story has no connection to any poems of any sorts, and for that matter, any other literature, flat out disproving any statement. Odysseus, Beowulf, and Gilgamesh are characters of Ancient literature- Epic Poems. Ralph is a character from a Disney movie.
Lastly, many statements are often guilty of certain fallacies. The idea of Wreck-it Ralph being a an Epic Hero attains the “Forbidden Fruit Fallacy”- the bias towards an idea due to the fact that it would be “cool”, but it is simply not true. For example, somebody wants a 5 monitor computer, even though that is completely unrealistic and excessive. Wreck-it Ralph being an Epic Hero is very unrealistic, but it’s interesting to think that they have so much in common. One might argue that Ralph does what have you, but unfortunately the out right label of Epic Hero is impractical. But hey wouldn't it be
