Ww1 Diary Entry
My life before today was perfect September 25, 1776. I could go outside and play. I could put on my clothes without the big yellow star on the front of my jacket or shirt. Life was great until the Germans sent a letter for my mom to go to one of the concentration camps. I was so scared and I had no idea what we were going to do. Now we have to pack our bags and go somewhere to hide. I have no idea what my life is going to look like in a couple of days from now or even a year.

It is the next day and the Germans caught us when we were going to our hiding place. We are now at the camp and I am cold and hungry. The only food they have given us is food that has mold on it and very little water. They striped all of our jackets off so now we just have pants and a shirt on. They split all of my family up. The boys on one side and the girls on the other. As long as I have my mom I am fine. If we get split apart I would fight for my life to try to get to her.

They have given us very little food and water. My mom and I are like a pencil. We are very weak and sick. We can barely walk because they have barely given us food and they have beaten us up so much that we can't walk as fast as they want us to. I am not sure if my dad and my brothers are alive.

It is November 25 and it has been another month. I cry myself to sleep every night and I get barely any sleep. The camp is very dirty with blood and people all over the place. It is winter now so everyone is getting very sick and most everyone has frostbite.

My mom said to me “If you can stay strong a little bit longer then I can just feel we will be reunited with your brothers and your dad soon enough”. That is what keeps me going everyday. She knows exactly what to say and it makes me so happy! I use to fight with my brothers everyday and now I wish I spent more time with them rather than fighting with them because now I am very lonely and all I want to do is

Hello Mother and Father how are you doing? I haven’t been doing too well in the trenches. As you know I have been assisting the French in the trenches for nearly two years. The trenches are horrendous; I never thought I would be more petrified at the horrific conditions than the actual war. Every day we face rats, hundreds of millions of rats, scurrying through the trenches. Since we don’t have a proper waste disposal system, the rats eat the trash that lay on the floor and the soldiers who have died in combat. It’s a gruesome sight, watching a fallen solder’s surrounded by flies and the rats consume the decaying corpses. Trench foot is almost just as bad, a couple of my closest friends have died from it. They told us that we developed trench foot from standing…

Diary Entries: Harold Henry Abbott Enlistment: 10th March 1915 I can not believe I have actually done it. I have officially enlisted myself to fight for Australia in the war two days ago, it still quite has not sunken in what I have done. To be quite honest I was reluctant in my mind to do it at first. Reason being is I am quite comfortable back home with my job of being a Brushmaker.…

The date was June 14, 2034. I was flying to London, England with my private jet. It was a beautiful day. The clouds were puffy and white, the sun was shining, and there was no wind. Then all of a sudden, there was a lot of turbulence. The plane was going crazy going left, then right, then back to the left. My pilot told me to not panic and that everything is going to be fine, but I was having cold feet. The turbulence became so wild, the pilot announced that the plane will have to land on the nearest ground.…

My mother is growing old and possibly sick, and I miss my far away family infinitely (Roden 141). As I walk around, I see dead animals, and dying soldiers, some with and some without very much clothing (Powell 149). An acquaintance of mine, who is one of the surgeons at camp, states that there is,”Poor food, hard lodging, cold weather, nasty clothes, nasty cookery, vomit half my time, smoked out of senses ...” and later goes on to say,” … my skin and eyes are almost spoiled with continual smoke” ( Waldo 151 ). All-in-all, there is little food, and every soldier is suffering in some way, be it starvation, sickness, lack of clothing, freezing to death, or lack of ventilation in the huts…

According to Sun Zi, the purpose of attacking with fire is to cut off and deprive the enemy’s equipment, provisions, supplies and weaken the squad of the enemy so as to raise up our team winning chance. In order to apply this philosophy, a few of criteria must be fulfilled. Firstly, the materials and equipments must be readied. Secondly, the weather and location must be suitable and last is the timing to attack must be appropriate. The main reason to use fire to attack is to create and open up new opportunities and chances so that our team can win the fight. In business circumstances, attacking with fire refers to reinventing an industry by produce something new and different from others. In other words, we must create ideas and strategies that have not been appeared in the past in order to be always in front and leading of other competitors. This will ensure us to always be on top of others and dominate the industry. Innovation is key for us to beat our opponents and this is what this philosophy means.…
