Where indigenous people of America were living in peace and safety before the arrival of Europeans explorers. The migration of Europeans , colonizing the land and extend their influence there by force , led to many of the massacres and numerous atrocities against Native Americans span the hundreds of years, and took the rest as slaves. Cultural clashes between European settlers and Natives lasted for over four hundred years – small battles, large scale wars and forced labor systems on large estates, also known as encomiendas – took a large toll on the Native population. Throughout the Northeast, proclamations to create ‘redskins’, or scalps of Native Americans, were common during war and peace times. According to the 1775 Phips Proclamation in Massachusetts, King George II of Britain called for “subjects to embrace all opportunities of pursuing, captivating, killing and destroying all and every of the aforesaid Indians.” By 1850, ninety-two percent of all American blacks were concentrated in the South, and about 95 percent were slaves. Slavery then went on to cause the War between the North and the South known as the “Civil War”.
Settlers independence movement began sparking angry reactions among the settlers who strongly opposed it, sending British troops to both Boston and New York, and committed Boston Massacre, which responded with the Americans protested, punished the Britain rebels shut down port Boston, but the struggle continued until achieving independence in 1776, and the formation of the United States in 1783 after the signing of the Paris agreement, and the development of the Constitution of the United States. From 1846 to 1848, U.S. and Mexican troops fought against one another in the Mexican-American War. Ultimately, it was a battle for land where Mexico was fighting to keep what they thought was their property and the U.S. desired to retain the disputed land of Texas and obtain more of Mexico’s northern lands. Thus, the roots of this war long precede the fighting that began on April 25th, 1846.
The American Civil War is one of the historic dark moments that are in the memory of the country was lasted for 4 years, between the years 1861-1865. The conflict that existed was between the north and the south states of the U.S. The conflict led to mass destruction of property and man lives were lost during the war. The war had a great impact in creating awareness in the U.S despite the great tension it created, and was the greatest determinant of the way the U.S is currently in terms of the sovereignty and the liberty of the U.S citizens. It is estimated that over 600,000 lives were lost in the four years’ war most of them being soldiers who were fighting to defend their respective states. . The struggle and fighting for equality among African Americans lasted until the twentieth century when it became a national issue not only Southern.
Despite what the world has witnessed the economic decline during the first two decades of the twentieth century, particularly in the period of the First World War, United States was better off than other, although the number of dead and wounded of the United States during World War I, almost 400,000 soldiers.
But the effects of WW1 on America were wide-ranging covering the political, economic and social impact the Great War had on the United States. Unlike the countries of Europe, the factories and home of the US had not been destroyed. Manufacturing, production and efficiency had increased through necessity during the Great War. America had emerged as a world industrial leader and the US economy was booming, profits were increasing which led to the period in American history called the Roaring Twenties with a massive rise in consumerism for the wealthy. But on other side, it was a time of enormous changes in American society life, social and economic problems such as poverty, alcohol abuse, racism, crime and violence, and moral decline when soldiers started to return home, the industry production began to slow, and there was less need for workers in
factories.
However, inflation was high and companies and corporations started the reduce wages and lay off workers to keep down operating costs. The power of the Unions had grown during the war, workers protested and 1919 saw a massive wave of strikes.
