I. Introduction Yoga is defined as a system of exercises for attaining bodily or mental control and well-being, which was introduced by Patañjali (regarded as the founder of the formal Yoga philosophy) in the 2nd century BC. The Sanskrit word yoga has the literal meaning of "yoke", came from a root yuj meaning to join, to unite, or to attach. The one who practices yoga or follows the yoga philosophy with a high level of commitment is called a yogi or yogini. It is a Hindu system of philosophy aiming at the mystical union of the self with the Supreme Being in a state of complete awareness and tranquility through certain physical and mental exercises. Within a Hindu Philosophy the word yoga is used to refer to one of the six orthodox schools of Hindu philosophy(Nyāyá, Vaiśeṣika, Sāṃkhya, Yoga, Mimāṃsā and Vedānta). In this philosophy yoga is said to emphasize meditation. Yoga is said to be allied from the oldest orthodox philosophical systems in Hinduism, the Samkhya. In this 20th century, most people put all their attention on their work, without even caring about their health, such kind of people sometimes has been called as a “workaholic” (a person who is addicted to work). Not even gave themselves a day of indulgence, with such kind of practice, people become ill easily causing them to died at a young age. Busy never been an excuse for them to not be concern with their health. There’s a lot of ways for them to work hard then without even destroying their health. In this paper, the researcher will discuss the benefits one can get in practicing yoga and how can yoga help one in relieving stress. Somehow it will also mention how can yoga help those who want to lose their weight.
II. Statement of the Problems A lot of people, especially the office workers experience a lot of pressure in their work, they skip meals and doesn’t have the chance for them to sleep well in order to finished their work, in short having
