This is to certify that Yonis Hersi Adawe is a Somali by birth. Yonis was born in the city of Markka, Shebelle district on Sept 15, 1964. Yonis and his wife belongs to the Dir tribe, sub-clan of Biyamal, sub-sub-clan of Ismin. I have no hesitation that Yonis and family are Somalian according of their tribal linage, their knowledge of many different tribes in Somali, and their friends who are living in Ottawa who identified them Yonis and his family come from Markka of Shebelle district.

Therefore, after research and fact findings, we have satisfied that Yonis and his wife Ruun Fatah and their children are Somalis and we give this letter upon their request for identification purpose
