You Are Not Alone
When you grow up and have kids, the most common question they will ask you is, “How was high school for you?” You want to tell them that it was the best four years of your life, but all that you can retain are the horrible memories of being bullied. Bullying is a huge problem all around world. In the United States, schools hold about 2.1 million bullies and 2.7 million victims. Many teens that have been bullied seek out revenge, intimidating bullies by bringing firearms to school. Other victims actually decided to take their precious lives just so that they could get away from it all. Are you tired of being pushed down to the ground? The best way to protest against bullying would be to show that you are invulnerable. Give the bullies something to worry about. Let them know that their meddling can’t faze you. If you are being bullied or thinking about committing suicide, tell someone. You are not alone. An actor named Michael J. Fox said, “One’s dignity may be assaulted, vandalized, and cruelly mocked, but it can be never be taken away unless it is surrendered.” If you are being bullied, you are being extremely vulnerable. Why are you acting so weak? You’re tired of the constant mocking, but you’re not doing anything about it. Do you know the best way to protest against a bully, is actually sticking up for yourself? Show that you are invulnerable to their crap. You know your worth in this world. This is the most peaceful protest against a bully that will actually have a great affect on the way people treat you. If you let these bullies strip your dignity and pride, they will keep messing with you. When they approach you, let them know, “I am tired of your constant bull crap, I’m not scared of you ANYMORE.” You must stick up for yourself. When you say those words, say them with courage. Go into school with a big smile on your face and love in your heart. If he or she sees
