Answering "Cluster One's" questions were stress-free, however, I found that at times more than one answer choice fit my

Hedges and Sacco introduce Chapter 2 with Silvia Ramos, she was in a bakery when the gunman came in and shot Hernadez, her husband, a bullet through his heart. He then speaks of the violence in those communities and if that violence continues and are not handled at that time, then more is to come, “violence begets violence” (64). He makes a point that the communities which are suffering from this violence stem from “Slavery. Segregation. Sharecropping.…

In the essay “Don’t Blame the Eater,” David Zinczenko describes himself as a kid who would eat regularly at fast food restaurants until he got “lucky”. He argues that most teenagers eat fast food instead of healthy and nutritious food. I, on the other hand, had a very different experience as a child.…
Both employees and management was observant to the change that was occurring. Both parties were involved in his or her internal reveries causing them to miss the bulk of what was causing the change to occur. The customers were frustrated by observing the constraints in receiving materiel and watching the consolidation fall apart due to miss-communication between employee and management. Management was looking for the imperfection in the current processes and provided training to the employees before the change was executed. All three parties saw imperfections of their own and learned how to handle those changes when they searched for their causes. Management had to be sensitive to the implications of this consolidation and recognize the controversy from the…

Reflection allows an individual to identify the reasons or purpose of understanding the outcome of a particular situation in depth in term of emotions on thought and feeling on the topic area. In addition, Reflection is something that we do implicitly as part of being human, underpinning our identities through a process of negotiation between our sense of self and our experiences of others (Demetriou, 2000, p.210). Therefore, I have implemented this quote in my professional and personal goals I wanted and have achieved thought-out the process of the module. I have made continues effort in building my confidence in situations that I have felt uncomfortable in.…

When I first began this medical surgical class I was extremely nervous about the content of the class and the pace at which the class would go. With each class I was surprised how much I learned. Some of the ways that helped me to learn is by doing the assigned reading, simulation, assignments, and class discussion, papers, and or presentations. All of these assignments helped me to understand the content better. This class has rather difficult content so any way that helps me to better comprehend and understand what I need to know.…

Expanding their knowledge beyond the narrow pathways presented where following one repetitive step and checking their work always leads them to the correct answer leaves openings for complex learning with the same or fewer number of tasks. They discover multiple techniques to find there are many correct answers. Divergent Thinking, Creativity, and Giftedness by Mark A. Runco of California State University discusses use of divergent thinking tests as an estimate for potential creative thought and how this reflects giftedness (Runco). Students who are forced to find less obvious answers and leave their comfort zone will be more likely to succeed; by asking them to use creativity, this appears as a direct result. Without having an option to take the easy way out, they will be forced to think deeply over each topic studied in class. Using activities with creative learning points can accomplish this too because continuing the multiple versions of a lesson cannot occur unless students can distinguish the ideas they have for each. Organization through critical thinking can build understanding to…
After reading Brave New World I am left with several feelings. I will start with the bad feelings. One feeling that stuck with me was a feeling of disgust. To be honest this book pissed me off. I understand what Huxley is trying to do in this book, but why in this fashion? To begin with I hated the plot. The characters, the events, and the society itself made me furious. I didn’t enjoy the story at all. I thought it was a waste of a beautiful forming plot. The ending is what really ticked me off. I cannot believe Huxley would do such a thing and end his book on such a ghastly manner. But with all this hate comes joy and acceptance.…
The first piece of writing in this section is my creative writing. I wrote this piece during my sophomore year after creating a dating website in my spanish class with mrs. kernen. The purpose of this paper was to develop a dating profile of a person that we made up and present it in front of the class. At the time i wrote this paper, my creative writing was not as nearly as good as they are now. Looking back at this piece, i can tell i was ineffective because i had more grammatical and punctuation errors than i should have. I was intrigued by the topic as well, so the amount of time that i had put into this piece of writing was proved within this writing assignment.…
