Dakota Mobley P.7 Youth tackle football is safe because of the excellent padding. Youth tackle football is safe. The material of the youth football outfit has had a dramatic effect to coaches and how the youth football players have had less injuries.
First of all youth tackle football is safe because the padding has increased because of the new products like Nike and under armour. Second, it is because of the new helmets that have a lot more padding in them. Youth tackle football also benefits young children by getting a lot of exercise like running, walking, jogging and tackling, it all benefits young kids bodys. Third, The Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma in New York completed a Pop Warner injury survey in 71 towns covering over 5,000 players in 1998. The injury experience of 5,128 boys age 8 to 15 years old, weight 22.5 to 67.5 kg [50 to 150 lb]) participating in youth football revealed an overall rate of significant injury of 5%, with 61% classified as moderate and 38.9% as major injuries. The tackling has increased because they started having coaches take online tests to be able to coach youth tackle football. The coaches have teached youth football players how to tackle the right way instead of tackling the wrong way. The right way is you tackle with your head up to help prevent head injuries, the wrong way is tackling with your head down which causes brain injuries.
