Nowadays, education seems like a lifeboat waving in a person’s life. In general, the most arguable topic of education is that if schools should push students harder in order to get better grade. However, after reading the articles about educational ways, schools are trying to give a easier life of studying to students, which is less traditional education, in order to development students' talent. Thus in my opinion, the life of a student today is easier than 50 years ago. Generally, a less traditional educational class is filled with fun and it makes students be engaged in class easier. According to the article “School Is Bad for Children,” John Holt tells us a truth that students will get bored easier when they are just listening to their teacher’s lectures and doing focusing on papers; on the other hand, in less traditional educational class, students can be allowed to work as a pair to do their papers and even share grades. As Holt says, “Children are often the best teachers of other children.” It is because students can focus on what kinds of mistakes that others make and they will learn from mistakes. In addition, working as a pair or in a group is better to improve students’ creative thought because they can have more input and output of information from each other. As far as we can see, that is why less traditional educational class can offer student opportunity to be more creative and makes the life of a student to be more easier than 50 years ago. According to the article " How the Web Destroys the Quality of Students' Research Papers", even though Rothenberg says students become lazy in reading and thinking by themselves and just copying ideas from webs, it does not mean webs are totally useless in studying. In fact, webs offer students boarder and deeper sources in studying. Also webs seems can be a private tutor or a study mate for students. Students would feel more comfortable in studying by using internet because internet makes life

According to Judith Levine, most of the data her students net are like trash fish, and by that I feel like she means that the information that they get is worthless and will not help them in any way. I would have to say that I can agree with her statement because as a web surfer myself I don’t see how it helps me. Yes, it does give me certain education in the information that I am surfing about, but it does and will not help me as much as it would if I were to read a book about that very same subject. I can gain more knowledge and keep it memorized with a book much easier than I can surfing the web.…

As a college student the computer has benefited myself in many ways. When a professor assigns me a paper to write, my first instinct is to do research online. The reason being is that online I find a plethora of information regarding the topic of my paper. For example when I was formulating a paper on World War II, I looked online to find some information. With a simple Google search, I was able to find relevant information ranging from the beginning of the war to the end of the war. Google automatically found five to ten websites on World War II in a matter of seconds. Some may point out that the information found online is not credible. However while this may be true, you can easily find credible sources by tweaking your search methods. Google has an advanced search preference where I can search for scholarly articles, newspaper editorials, and other credible sources. Not only was I able to find all the supplemental information I needed to write a paper, but it also saved me a lot of time. I remember the time when I conducted my research at the library. I would spend hours thumbing through pages of a book to find information. Most of the time my research would come to little or no avail because I would never be able to find the information I was looking for. Sometimes the library didn’t even have the information I needed. Overall, the Internet has eliminated…

Knowledge can’t be imparted at the cost of life. It is time for educational institutions to wake up and develop such methods of imparting education which creates curiosity and inspire the students to develop their talent and reach new heights.
