First, we will have to get in contact with city officials such as Public Facilities Director, Public Transportation Director, etc. Being able to work with them will make it much easier for people to evacuate and get where they need to go. Getting it out on the radio is by far the best option. Most people will be evacuating by car anyways, so it would work perfect for everyone listening to the radio to know where to go and what to do in the situation. No one will know the correct station to go to, so we will have to do the broadcasts on all stations. But the radio will not last forever. If the radio starts to go under, we need to have a backup plan. We will have to reduce to a more specific type of broadcasting like satellite radio. Broadcasting on all of those stations or even a one on one message will be the only effective way left to communicate.
When people get to our southern shelters, we will have to deal with multiple injuries. We will have all of the supplies we need at these shelters. These supplies include first aid kits, antibiotics etc. We will have medical doctors and professionals on site at all times. Having these professionals will be a huge advantage for our shelters. Supplies will be limited so we will have to use them on only certain injures. Severe injuries like broken limbs or large bites/gashes will be our biggest worry. Peace would be kept by having a certain number of people keeping the peace among the people. By making certain people in charge will keep order so not everyone thinks they can do whatever, someone will be responsible for their groups actions. In the event of evacuation we would keep direct contact with the Public Transportation Director. That way we can we can transport as many people as possible to safety with the ease of buses, subways, trams, and many other public vehicles. Then, we would move children, adults, and elderly first. Then, after they are loaded we would load up men in the remaining spaces. Now, in the event that we are not able to use these transportation vehicles, we will have to evacuate the area on foot. We would split people into a few large groups and get them to leave and head to safety as fast as possible. In the groups there would be a few leaders, one leading the way, one for medical emergencies, and a few for protection of the others.
